Intro

HR tackles recruitment, management, and retention challenges that influence organizational success. My task was to design an efficient HR system for Microsoft’s 1,000-member HR teams, aiding organized task execution. My challenge was to Design an interactive dashboard that optimizes Microsoft HR teams’ tasks, ensuring efficient recruitment processes and enhancing employee engagement.

The Use Case​

HR Recruiter

HR recruits 100 monthly across departments using multi-stage processes. The HR Recruiter manages open positions, durations, and reasons for vacancies, aiming to enhance vacancy fill times, application reviews, talent screening, shortlisting, and recruitment precision.

The purpose of the research is to understand the recruitment processes, to know the pain points and to be familiar with the potential solutions and their features.

Note: User research wasn’t conducted and the focus was on the use case brief. In order to understand their requirements and daily activities, in-depth research was conducted into recruiter job requirements.

THE USER - The Recruiter

  • Open Positions Overview: snapshot of all open positions across departments.
  • Vacancy Duration Tracking: duration each position has been open.
  • Recruitment Pipeline: allowing recruiters to track progress at a glance.
  • Performance Metrics Tracker: to vacancy fill times, Cost per hire, open position and total candidate.

Offers an overview of candidate progress, lists job openings, manages interviews, facilitates team collaboration, and provides recruitment analytics.

According to the competitor analysis, the dashboard should include integrated Job Boards and Social Networks, streamlined Pipeline Visualization with event tracking, collaborative Team tools, data-driven Analytics, Performance Management with goal tracking, and seamless Enterprise Integration with Microsoft tools.
